Youth Camps 2026: Manila

From April 13 to 18, 2026, Care Channels Manila held its annual youth camps for Education Sponsorship students in Manila and neighbouring provinces. The camps were divided into two age groups: Batch 1 welcomed 110 campers aged 10–14, while Batch 2 received 159 campers aged 15–18, bringing a total of 269 attendees this year. They were guided by 33 counsellors, composed of CCI college scholars, volunteers and Care Channels staff members.

This year’s camp encouraged the youth to reflect on how their words, choices, and relationships can positively influence the people around them. Through a combination of learning sessions, discussions, workshops, and team activities, campers were challenged to grow in character, leadership, and faith.

During each three-day camp, campers participated in plenary sessions and small group discussions that explored topics relevant to young people today. Speakers shared lessons on courage, compassion, perseverance, and purpose through stories and examples.

In small groups, campers discussed topics such as family relationships, friendships, identity, social media, and making wise choices. They also explored conversations about healthy relationships, respect, and personal values in age-appropriate settings.

Beyond the learning sessions, campers joined a variety of team games and activities that strengthened teamwork, creativity, communication, and resilience. Workshops, group presentations, and Talent Night also gave campers opportunities to express themselves and develop their confidence.

One of the camp’s highlight activities was where blindfolded campers were guided through a maze of obstacles while relying on the guidance of their teammates and counsellors. The activity encouraged trust, listening, and reflection, culminating in an evening of fellowship around a bonfire.

Throughout the camps, the safety and well-being of the campers remained a top priority. All activities were carefully planned with safety measures in place, while medical staff and volunteers stayed on-site throughout the program.

Both camps concluded with moments of reflection and personal commitment from many of the campers. Overall, the week served as an opportunity for the youth to build friendships, strengthen their values, and be encouraged in their holistic growth.

Camper Testimony:

This Care Channels Camp has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Every activity – from Zumba and war games to station games and Talent Night – was full of fun, valuable lessons, and unforgettable memories. The blindfold session was especially meaningful to me because it gave me time to reflect and appreciate how much this experience has shaped me.

I also met new friends who made the camp even more special. The moments we shared are memories I will always treasure. Knowing that this is my last time attending the Camp makes me emotional. I will truly miss every part of it, but I am very grateful for everything I learned and experienced.

Care Channels Camp didn’t just give me great memories – it helped me grow and changed me for the better.”
